Experience: Festive Glassblowing at Coal Drops Yard

Experience: Festive Glassblowing at Coal Drops Yard

A festive weekend of interactive glassblowing workshops in Coal Drops Yard, one of London’s newest cultural destinations…

Hole & Corner invite visitors to the recently launched Coal Drops Yard to discover the magic of glassblowing by participating in creating their very own festive glass decorations. Working one-to-one with glass artist Phoebe Stubbs – who was part of our Walpole Award-nominated collaboration with Alfred Dunhill for London Craft Week ’18 – this is your chance to directly experience this captivating process.

Taking place outside in the central yard, each glassblowing workshop will last 20 minutes per person. You will be given an opportunity to personalise your colour palette and shape and work with the maker through each step of the process. This will involve personally blowing the glass, transforming it from a raw material into a beautiful and unique glass decoration.

Due to the required cooling time of 24 hours, the decorations will be sent to participants (signed for First Class) on the following. There will be an additional cost for shipping for addresses outside of the UK.

We ask all participants to please arrive at least 30 minutes before their booked workshop.

10% of all sales at this event will be donated to charity.
