Curated by Hole & Corner for London Design Fair, this year we welcome the best of Cornish makers and unveil the work of the inaugural Cræftiga winners…

Highlighting the very best in British-based designer-makers, the British Craft Pavilion returns on 20 September, with an inspiring selection of talent.

We have worked with Design Frontier to showcase some of the finest Cornish-based makers, as part of the Cultivator Programme – featured artisans include Michel François, Leach Pottery and Alex O’Connor, to name but a few.

The Leach Pottery will be displaying their world-famous designs at British Craft Pavilion

Elsewhere we are pleased to present a diverse mixture of new and familiar faces, including porcelain artist Olivia Walker; footwear designer Georgina Goodman; fine knife makers Pole and Hunt and Blenheim Forge; textile weavers Maria Sigma (top) and Christabel Balfour; furniture designer Jo Elbourne; wood artist Joel Parkes; and ceramicists Joanna Still and Naomi Bikis – both of whom feature in our new fifth birthday issue, The Elements (available to order online now).

We are also showcasing the winners from the inaugural Cræftiga award, established by Hole & Corner to support and promote young emerging maker talent in the  fields of design, art and craft…

The British Craft Pavilion runs at London Design Fair, Old Truman Brewery, London E1 6QR from 20-23 September 2018
