The 12-hour Flannel by Mila Harris-Mussi

Handmade with 100% unbleached silk on an 8-gauge industrial knitting machine, this flannel took eight hours to knit using the complex knitting technique Plush – and four hours to dye with the plant dyes logwood and indigo. The flannel, washcloth or face towel is a small square of cloth made from looped yarn sticking up from the pile of the fabric to create an abrasive and exfoliating texture; to wash and cleanse the face from dead skin and the day’s dirt.

Details: 100% unbleached silk, hand-dyed with logwood and Indigo (Wash at 20°C – colour may fade over time).
