Listen Weekly 14: Paper

Listen Weekly 14: Paper

The rough and the smooth; the plain and the bold; the very special and the yesterday news; this week’s music selection is an ode to ‘paper’…

‘This is a journey into sound. A journey, which along the way, will bring to you new colour, new dimension and new values…’

In truth the reality may not be so groundbreaking, but we do love that famous Geoffrey Sumner quote, and in our own small way we do hope that our Listen Weekly playlists can provide an experience of sorts. Ideally hitting the notes to make it an enjoyable listen of both familiar and new, whilst also inducing a wry smile here and there as our theme weaves it’s way through.

Or perhaps we should say pressed? For this week’s playlist is all about the paper. And it’s a decidedly upbeat affair, aimed to keep your toes tapping and head nodding throughout, it features tracks from Prince, Tom Tom Club, Faze Action and Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark to name a few.

Sit back and enjoy our sonic collage…
